The Irish Agility & Dog Sports Association (IADSA) respects your privacy. This Privacy Statement sets out the basis on which IADSA process any personal data collected from you, or that you provide to IADSA. Information IADSA collects
As a member of the association, you may provide IADSA with personal information by filling out forms, by post, emails, telephone or otherwise (e.g. by applying for membership; applying for a licence; payment for services i.e. entering a show). This information may include your personal data such as your name, address, email address, mobile or landline telephone number, personal description, gender, date of birth and financial and credit card information.
In relation to the IADSA website, it may automatically gather statistical and other analytical information collected on an aggregate basis of all visitors to the website to help develop and design the layout of the website. This data comprises information that cannot be used to identify or contact you, such as demographic information regarding, for example, user internet protocol (“IP”) address used to connect your computer to the internet, your browser type and version, traffic data information regarding the volume and status of data transmissions, click-through statistics and any other anonymous statistical data involving the use of the website.
Purpose for which IADSA collects information
IADSA will use the personal data supplied by you for the purpose for which you have supplied that information only (i.e. for the purpose of becoming a member) and to notify you about any changes to IADSA. Currently, IADSA only provides online payment using Paypal so it does not hold any payment information that you submit using this payment method. This information is exclusively held by Paypal alone. If you have any issues with payment details, or payment information, please contact Paypal directly. Personal details may be used for the purpose of notifying you of IADSA services including news, events, competitions, tickets and information you have requested or that IADSA think may be of interest to you.
If you decide that you no longer wish to receive promotional information, you can contact the Secretary by using the contact details below and you will be removed from our mailing list. Please note, however, that IADSA cannot backdate any changes that you make.
Use of your information by third parties
IADSA does not sell or pass your personal details to third parties without your consent, except in the following instances:
- Where it is required by applicable law or pursuant to a court order or similar order;
- Where it is required urgently to prevent serious loss or damage to property of IADSA;

IADSA only needs to hold accurate, complete and up to date data. Under the Acts, you also have the right to have your personal data corrected, if inaccurate, or erased if IADSA no longer has a legitimate interest in holding that data. If you wish to make a request for your data to be updated or erased, you should do so by submitting your request in writing to the Secretary at the address below. IADSA will comply with such a request within 40 calendar days or the receipt of such a request.

IADSA takes appropriate measures to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of information that it holds and will periodically update any relevant security measures in light of current technologies. You need to be aware however, of inherent risks associated with the transmission of information via the Internet. IADSA cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any personal information you submit via digital channels.
